Manjushree is an author and a film maker. Alumni of the Film and Television Institute of India, Pune, 92 batch, she has taught film-making at National Institute of Design (Ahmedabad), the FTII (Pune ), SRISHTI (Bangalore), and Storygram.
She has worked with feature film directors as assistant director and script writer before making her own documentary films, (a few of which have been uploaded here). Her recent short fiction film, And then the Mountain called her, based on her story, Pradakshina, is a film about a seekers journey from the backwaters of France to a temple town in South India. This film was shot in Tiruvannamalai by cinematographer Sameer Mahajan. It is uploaded under the tab, Manjushree’s films.

Apart from her online classes on scriptwriting, Manjushree teaches scriptwriting and film making in Ahmedabad. She also makes organic lemon pickles.
